Career Suicide.

This is a band that originates from Toronto Canada and has a seriously mean sound to them.

Refreshing and if you grew up going to shows in the Toronto punk scene, it'll make you proud.

Hank Wood & The Hammerheads

New York always produces such amazing punk rock.

Lo-Fi. Staccato vocals. 2 drummers, including cowbell and fire bell.

Garage Awesomeness.

Stiff Little Fingers - Wasted Life

These guys are undeniably a huge influence on punk music.  They pre-dated most if not all of it and more importantly, these are guys who were growing up in Ireland during the height of IRA violence.  Writing songs about military servitude and public strife is never more heartened than when it's written in the heat of it all.

Fugazi - #1

I have a hard time articulating Fugazi in my mind.  To me, it's a relatively obscure band with a massive following. Punk Jam Alternative Rock that's eerily inspiring.  That's all I've got for now.  They have a documentary that was on YouTube for years but the video must have been taken down, I highly recommend it for anyone who's a serious fan of music, art or punk.

Here are a few choice clips of mine that showcase their musical talents and their stage presence as well.

Shut the Door (Live): This clip is a live performance of theirs that I think really showcases the synchronicity of the band and what people who play music are capable of.  The performance by Ian is undoubtedly extremely passionate, and there's a little bit of experimental ..."weirdness"... in the middle, but if you watch the whole thing, the end (around 6:50 on) the whole band is so in sync it's astounding.

Guilford Falls: This is a live performance with a demo track of one of their songs dubbed over.
I think it represents the spirit of the band well overall.  Guy Picciotto is ridiculous on stage sometimes.

Ok, It's been awhile, but this performance had to be posted.  Keith Morris was born in 1955, he's 57 years old and his band isn't young either. This is conviction, and this is passion.
